Amidst all your cries and laugher let your mind take a moment off, and go still. Look at this moment, this moment alone, and go still.

This would not mean to silence all your thoughts, emotions and words. Just trace them to the silence which precedes all speech, and go still. There is a minutely brief moment of quiet from which a wave rises and into which it merges. As you observed a wave, observe also its quiet source and the silent end, and go still.

Each breath that you take begins and ends with a moment's pause. Fill that gap when you breath, fill it with the silence of meditation, and go still.

Before you burst with anger, before you let go of your passion, hold your mind, fix it on a quiet within you. Then even in the midst of your anger and passion you will find a stillness that will make your emotion into a well weilded tool, a tool to help you be still. 35

At this moment, dive within you, dive to depths, and go still.
